HOT PINK - EXID

EXID has done it again with their new album Hot Pink. This song is not just famous but the soju version has netizens of Korea praising their credibility!

EXID - Hot Pink ( soju version )
1. [+121] EXID can sing! EXID can sing! EXID can really sing!
2. [+102] They should put this in their next album like Hot Pink (Soju ver.) xD This is the best thing ever i swear omg
3. [+84] We can see all pieces of ‘truly’ EXID here: talented, crazy, funny, adorable, love & support each other. So perfect my dear EXID !
4. [+7] I love how effortless this is. They’re literally joking around, laughing, drinking, eating, cooking meat and overall having fun while still slaying vocally. Ugh they’re so perfect. No dumb MR removed video could ever show their true talent and beauty like this gem of a video here.
They had two songs that literally made them noticeable:

Believe it or not, but at one point this fancam of Hani had more views than their actual music video! Due to her sexy dancing, EXID became well known for the famous pelvic thrust in Up and Down.

Ah Yeah also lead EXID to maintain their reputation!

Enjoy!

MAMA 2015 - HONG KONG

On December 2nd, the MAMA 2015 ceremony will be held in Hong Kong. Your votes are the deciding factor for the idols' win or loss. For those of you that are unknown about this - this is an awarding ceremony for the Idols' music created in 2015 and is decided by the fans' votes. So I urge you all to vote for whoever during the next 32 days ( each day one vote ) that you think deserves an award for their hardship during the year.
An insight to this is that BIGBANG and EXO are neck and neck for the titles of ' Best Male Group', 'Best Dance Performance Male Group', 'UnionPay Artist of the Year' and 'UnionPay Song of the Year'. I'd like you to know that every vote counts and I advise you to think considerably before doing so! Thank you..

Follow this link and take the burden to make an account to vote if you really care:

EXO: THE MOST WANTED?

I am pathetically going to explain EXO - this famous boy band that rocked the Kpop world! Like mentioned before EXO is boy band that consists of 6 Korean members called EXO-K and 6 Chinese members called EXO-M, therefore together as one...EXO. This charming band had cunningly created a massive (not exaggeration) fan base for over two years without releasing any actual album or music - just teasers! So when their first album 'XOXO' aka 'Kiss and Hug' was released, in mere hours their views soared to millions where EXO fans proudly named themselves 'EXOTICS'.

EXO's producers, S.M. Entertainment, who were famous for producing the 'best of the best' artists, were more ambitious with EXO's outcome - believing they have the potential and charisma. Subsequently, EXO released a 'head-line grabbing', I quote, album 'EXODUS' in 2014 where they became a hot issue in the media for their début songs 'MAMA' and 'WOLF'.

EXO's fan service lived up to its reputation where they came up with logos for themselves to be recognised around Asia and of course - the world. They had smartly thought of naming their fans EXO-L where their logic was more pure than EXOTICS.

EXO-K(oreans) + EXO-M(andarin) = EXO-L(ove).
As the letter 'L' is in between 'K' and 'M' which shows the fans are not biased towards Koreans or Chinese members. To clarify this unspoken meaning, they had created the motto -
"We are one. We are EXO."

With their unified team work, they featured on many TV shows in China, Vietnam and Korea to promote themselves. They had completed this task very well as news of EXO exploded in the UK and America. EXO's good-looking features, ability to sing and outstanding dancing skills begged well-known UK online articles to write eye-catching headlines like "EXO, K-pop's New Boy Band, Is Even Dreamier Than One Direction". Yes! The one and only One Direction that grabbed the hearts of the girls in UK! You may have started to believe EXO as just an overrated boy band that got lucky with a couple of songs!

However, fortunately, that is not the case... EXO released two mind-blowing single albums 'OVERDOSE' and 'GROWL', in 2015 never disappointing their fans. They once again became the Number 1 searched on the Internet globally. Amidst all their stardom, the members themselves faced hardships within their group where 2 EXO-M members filed a lawsuit against S.M. Entertainment for the inequality between the two groups. Therefore, as of today EXO consists of 10 members. One Direction fans can relate but imagine the trauma for EXO-L when 2, not one, left. Thankfully, they are both doing well in their careers of solo singing and acting!

You might be wondering why the sudden blog about EXO when I, as part of EXO-L, have been supporting EXO since 2012 - since they were juniors (ranging from the age 17 to 21) learning tactics from their superiors like BigBang or Shinee(stay tuned to hear more about them). The main reasons are very obvious.

EXO has recently worked on their online show called 'EXO Next Door' which features EXO themselves and the typical love triangle with the girl living next door. This allowed every fan, aka me, to fantasise to being 'the girl' that EXO squabbles and aches over. They aired 16 episodes, with only 15 minutes maximum for each, and still gained the title "EXO Next Door Sets A New Record With More Than 50 Million views" by the well-known Yahoo news. But, shockingly, that is not the sole reason for this post.

EXO is planning a new album with 4 hit songs from EXODUS with 4 new songs! EXO-L is anticipating for this release on June 3rd, hoping they will receive EXO's promising best. Sadly enough, EXO-M is falling apart. With their new release, another EXO-M member has detached himself due to the reason of negligence for treatment which his father was displeased about. Therefore, he will not appear as of the new album, 'LOVE ME RIGHT'.

While EXO is working hard, an ex-member was asked to star in a Hollywood movie, 'The Great Wall', coming out in 2016 where he will act alongside Matt Damon! This is a big leap for him as a while ago he was starring as the male lead in a Chinese film in January 2015 called '20 Once Again'.

If you wish to meet these mysterious 12 members of EXO, just keep check for my following posts!

Suicidal Thoughts | Prologue

Maybe I was too obvious that I could see him; when I plastered a toothy smile on my face, when my eyes darted back and fro, when I shifted from feet to feet and when I ran my fingers through the tangled mess in my hair several times. I tell myself this repeatedly that it wasn't my fault I was behaving like that - they were actions of impulse when someone felt uncomfortable. Thinking back, I was feeling exactly that - set on edge and.. just uncomfortable.
First I was clutching at the cool rail at the far end of the first coach trying to control my breathing. I remember precisely what time it was, because that was when I expired-;  gone, ceased to be, died or call it what you want. I was on the train to Stratford on the Central Line at 4:00 pm. Rush hour. This was the time when students and workers gathered on the train and fixated their minds on getting home, that they forgot about everything else - including personal hygiene.
But not me, I confirmed mentally.
A couple of minutes after squeezing on the train, I was ducking my head to avoid the sweat-patched armpits boldly pushed at my face. Trying to hide the look of disgust that was permanently drawn across my face, I turned on the volume on my phone, listening to the soothing orchestra that I hardly heard the constant chatter beside me - I closed my eyes. My music taste had changed since that day. Since that day... My thoughts had dangerously spiralled out of control, will I still be normal after I admit it out loud? I mean, would anybody call me normal if I told them I know -
I jolted uncontrollably forward, knocking things and pushing people down with me, as the train faltered. After mumbling a few apologies to the passengers, I took my place back by the ventilation window. I was back to the same position although something had changed. The air was suffocating  and I had strange vibes that sent shudders down my neck.
The musky smell had overwhelmed my senses numbing my brain and the breeze... It was smooth like a gentle hand as it caressed my neck and my shoulders. Hmm.. Warm. Wait -
" We're not moving!", a mum, I presumed, cried standing up with a look of panic growing in her eyes, her young toddler matching the same expression, most possibly because of the ascending sirens.
This realisation had also dawned over the other passengers as they grew fierce and loud; The wind...Almost like it's pleading with me, I pondered, like it wants to warn me about something. But what? I can't even think...
"...You know sometimes your brain doesn't work but you need it to because if it does it can save a lot of lives and well. Sad thing is you're all gonna die...", my thoughts that day had formed words and tumbled out of my mouth like an overflowing mug of tea. What crap came out of my mouth? Don't tell me I'm doing it again............mierda.
This takes us all the way to the start - this was when I saw him - this was when he answered my thoughts with just his presence. I usually ignored them, the...umm...the things, when they stand by their possession guarding it. I always told myself, it's not my problem. It's normal - it happens to everyone. It will to me one day.
However, as I cowered away from him, I started noticing others. Dark shadows with hollow eyes, each engrossing onto their person. Not another terrorist attack - that's been happening too often. So many lives at stake...And there's nothing I could do about it, I sighed. I dragged my eyes away from the ground, teeth grinding, and met my eyes with every passenger that was in my sight. All these people!
Controlling my anger wasn't an option for me  but I had no choice, I needed to tell them the lies that made them comfortable - that allowed them to think they could go back to their lives without a second thought. On that account, I cleared my throat; unplugged my headphones; stood taller than my wilting position and peered into the little girl's frantic eyes. Through her view, she supposedly saw a fairly old lady, dressed in a smart suit with desiccated hair, poised to give a grand speech. I cleared my throat again, this time with the feeling of responsibility to announce this.
I started, " Hi. My name is Angelica. But that's hardly important. What I mumbled is just the precarious thoughts of an old lady afraid of her death at such a little disaster as a broken-down train. So please, don't take any heed of my - " I gulped down the sour bile that rose in my throat, unable to continue...
"Leave her alone. She doesn't have to die yet", I uttered. The shadow desperately cradled the child, unwilling to listen to me. I raised my voice even louder, "Leave my daughter alone! My daughter isn't going to die. Did you hear me?" I laughed through sobs as my hope smouldered by his manic grin. The unusual silence became conversations that diverted their attention to my madness. I felt pity, accusations, fear and rumours thrown at me through their words. My heart teetered, hesitated, as I faced my memories. Looking at that helpless child, it reminded me of my daughter. My dead daughter. The guilt overwhelmed me as I confronted my fears, " Her name was Amy. Beautiful she was - green eyes with honey blond hair. She took after my boyfriend. We broke-up, you see - my Amy wasn't planned, she was unwanted by him but much loved by me. Not enough, though, not enough. My selfish wants came first that night - finish this project and my promotion is already a step ahead. That's how I thought." I cackled knowing I've won my attention again. I empathised with most of the parents in the coach.
" I cooed her to sleep; singing a lullaby. She was full of energy, that one, babbling about her first day at school and meeting new friends. So lively, so full of innocence. Why did it have to be her? I was so sure she was going to become a handful when she went through her teenage years, complaining about boyfriends and then all too soon love, marriage and a family of her own." I sigh as I blink away my hot tears. " I don't know what possessed me to cook that night but I did. Noodles with sweet potato soup..Hmm, yum, her favourite. Amy would chomp it right down no matter how salty, hard or raw and praise me of my amazing cooking skills. Trust me it was dreadful! Worst cook in the world. I was so fixated on finishing the project - winning the project in fact - so I could earn more money, live a better life.. Selfish thoughts. When a phone call came from the office saying something went wrong, I couldn't resist. I sneaked out in the middle of the night, definite my baby was asleep." My sobs came all of a sudden. I knew why I was telling my story to strangers. You do that when you want to clear your guilty conscience before you die. Like to a reverend you have never met.
"I came back the next morning, groggy and not yet awake. I was scared stiff to discover police cars and ambulances  parked outside my lawn. What stopped my heart was a tiny body on a sling driven away. My heart and hand trembled when I pulled the sheet away to have one last look at her face. She was still. Somehow sleeping and dead didn't look the same. All the emotion empty in her face and her lips blue. Her favourite colour." My voice was small now and tired but I needed to finish. So much to say, not enough time.
" The police took me away for a few days and interrogated me. I mechanically retold the events, aching to see my child. I had her corpse back the following day and a part of me died. I don't know what I was expecting but it was only then I cried. Her smile and open arms? Her laugh when she says, Mummy you fell for it! April Fools? All I got was a lifeless body with burns. It was an explosion from the gas cooker but my strong baby fought. It was suspected in the end she died from suffocation. Why that night? Why her? It's fate. Sooner or later you'll die. I told you this to warn you, we are going to die. Now. And there's nothing anyone can do about it." I face my audience and stare at them as they process this new information. My eyes settle on the mum who looks doubtful and I realise she has cuffed her daughters ears. Good, no child has to know their death, I think surely. I glance at my clock - 4:30 pm on Friday 30th April 2013. I inhale deeply in and out; in and out; in and out. I look at the unconvinced faces and I don't blame them. They can't see the reapers that have a chosen a person's soul to take. I give a toothy smile through my tears and say with a shaky voice, " I know when you're going to die. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. We are going to die. Believe me, it's true."
After a few minutes later, not only did the wind cry along with me, everyone else did. As soon as the explosions started.

Just Something..

I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me,
"Daddy, check for monsters under my bed".
I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering,
"Daddy. There's somebody on my bed".

Who would you believe?

90s' Challenge

Jagged Little Pill (90's Challenge)
submitted 15 hours ago * by Bnotafraid
I look over the wedding pictures with tears in my eyes. What a happy day. I can’t believe how long it’s been. How beautiful, young, so full of life and glowing I was.
Her in the wedding dress, me as the brides maid, both of us staring dreamily at you. I was head over feet in love with you.
After all these years I see right through you though, all the lies of leaving her and being with me. You made me empty my womb, but you filled hers.
I thought what we had would be perfect, but I guess you live and you learn. There you are.
You walk in and see my hand in my pocket; you wonder what I have in here, don’t you? Is it a gun? Is it a knife? Isn't it Ironic that it would come down to this? Mary Jane on the floor bleeding out? Yes, I pulled her trachea out with my bare hands when she wouldn't shut up. I didn't want to hear her truth any more than your lies. Haha put down that phone, the Doctor can't help.
But, know this; I don’t want to be forgiven for what I've done. I want this to be in your mind forever. I want you to never wake up from this nightmare. This way I'm always in your thoughts.
I think that you oughta know; all I've ever really wanted was to love you. But you chose her and because of that, we all must die.
And that Jagged little pill that you saw me take when you walked in, I also gave to your children.

This is a story that I wanted to share for people to puzzle upon, I accepted this challenge but I haven't completed it.

MOVIE PICK OF THE WEEK

This one is out of question - everyone is talking about this.

Women In Black 2 - Angel of Death. It is rated 15 and the genres are horror and oddly enough drama.

There is another movie I am planning to watch in the Christmas hols is called Exodus. The rating is 12A and the genres are action, adventure and drama.

RECOMMENDED K-POP - GIRL GROUP EDITION

DISCLAIMER: These videos are not mine nor are the contents!! >_< Also check out from below if you wish to know from best to not best.

This post is for all the K-Pop fans out there who want to explore in the range of music, like me..

NUMBER 10: Darling by Girl's Day
The MV is a bit "over" from my view but I like the tune and the lyrics a lot.
PLEASE ENLARGE IT TO GET THE ENGLISH SUBS OR CLICK ON YOUTUBE ON THE CORNER.

NUMBER 9: Make me go crazy by Ladies' Code
For this the MV was not available as they had performed this song LIVE. However, thankfully, a fan of Ladies' Code had put together all their MVs and made a video with English Subs. Phew!

NUMBER 8: Some by Soyu (SISTAR) and Junggigo.
The girl and boy featuring in this cheesy MV are merely actors and are not the Artists to this song.
PLEASE ENLARGE IT TO GET THE ENGLISH SUBS OR CLICK ON YOUTUBE ON THE CORNER.

NUMBER 7: Happy by 2NE1
If you are new to this girl band, do not be surprised to see weird clothing/acting/make-up/everything because this is their theme for everything and that's also how they behave in real life. Aside from the weirdness, they have millions of fans and are really famous. They are that famous that one of their hit songs in Korea was used for an English ad here..

NUMBER 6: The original song in this ad is this: I am the best by 2NE1.

NUMBER 5: Copycat by Orange Caramel.  The quality is bad so enlarge it or click on the YouTube icon on the bottom when you play it.

NUMBER 4:  Whatcha Doin Today by 4Minute

NUMBER 3: Mr Chu by APink

NUMBER 2: Something by Girl's Day

NUMBER 1: Mr Mr by Girls Generation (aka SNSD).
This is the most famous girl group EVER, they are known by everyone in Korea and K-Pop fans. All their music are amazing but this song was the number one hit song..

However although my personal favourite is Crayon Pop and Orange Caramel. I like all of their songs and everything but I am a big Big Bang fan! (They are not a girl band btw)

They are alongside Girls Generation, and are both striving across Europe, US and the UK as of the best selling music. The song that started my interest is called Blues. If you wish to know more about K-Pop check out this link that leads to a news report written on BBC. Just to inform you if you do read it, you may realise that the account is actually very biased.

Korean Expressions I learnt from K-Dramas

There are tons, tons, tons of Korean expressions and sounds. Some are classics while others are passing trends. Here’s the list of the ones that are most commonly used:

  1. Aish/아이씨: darnit, ah crap, oh man
  1. Nyam nyam nyam/냠냠냠: munching sounds, the Korean way of saying America’s “nom nom nom”
  1. Ae/에이: roughly translates to “Aw~ Come on,” can sound highly aegyo depending on how you say it, use when someone rejects your request
  1. Uh/어: heard often when Koreans are on the phone, the Korean way of saying “yeah” and “uhuh.”
  1. The airy huh: very common sound in Korean dramas, used when expressing disbelief with an “omg, what did you just say to me?” face
  1. Ooh-ah/우아: a Korean way of saying “wow”
  1. Ayah!/아야!: the Korean “ouch,” the shorter way to say it is “Ah! 아!” Use this when you have sharp and sudden pain, i.e. papercut. Make a longer “Ah/아” if you’re sick in bed, have a stomachache or are experiencing brain freeze.
  1. Ah-HH-hh/아~ (see KWOW #110 at 3:08): a long AH with a raised middle then back down is equivalent to “oh-HH-hh.” Like when someone says in America, “OhhHHhhhh, I see.”
  1. The suck-in-the-air-through-your-teeth sound effect (watch KWOW #110 at 3:33 for demo): use when in pain or when someone is about to do something after you told them not to, i.e. your little brother reaching for the cookie jar, your cat jumping on the dinner table.
  1. Ya/야: means “hey” in most situations. There are multiple ways of using YA. Yell it out loud when frustrated (like when you’re fighting and you’re at a loss for words) and if someone wronged you (i.e. a pickpocket snatched your purse).
  1. Ya, ya, ya/야, 야, 야: meaning “hey, hey, hey,” this expression is often seen in Korean dramas with policemen and gangsters. Remember to include hand and arm motions as shown in the video!
  1. The long Ya/야 with a genuine smile: sounds more like “wow” than “hey,” use when impressed with something or someone, i.e. your friend can drink a ridiculous amount of soju and is still alive, you saw the Grand Canyon for the first time and are blown away by its awesome-ness.

10 things South Korea does better than anywhere else...

1) Want to see what the future looks like? Book a ticket to the country with a worldwide high 82.7% Internet penetration and where 78.5% of the entire population is on smartphones (as of 2013). While they're chatting away on emoticon-ridden messenger apps such as Naver Line or Kakao Talk, South Koreans also use their smartphones to pay at shops, watch TV (not Youtube but real-time channels) on the subway and scan QR codes at the world's first virtual supermarketHyundai plans on rolling out a car that starts with your smartphone in 2015.  Samsung in the meantime has been designing a curved phone.

2) South Koreans became the world's top users of credit cards two years ago, according to data from the Bank of KoreaIt's technically illegal for any merchant in the country to refuse credit cards, no matter how low the price, and all cabs have credit card machines. All that flying plastic makes Seoul one of our top shopping cities in the world.

3)South Koreans are so used to studying -- the country has the highest education level in Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development countries, with 98% of the population completing secondary education and 63% with a college education -- they can't get out of the habit once they reach the work force. They are just completely workaholics!!

4) When they're not working, Koreans are celebrating their latest deals or drowning their sorrows in soju. Soju is a cheap alcohol drank by everyone 19+ and by their age a certain amount can be drunken legally.

5) When it comes to make-up and cosmetics, South Koreans can't stop experimenting with ingredients or methods of application. Right now, they're pushing "hair shockers" -- neon tints for hair -- and nail polish with real flowers in it. Just as Korean men are less wary of going under the plastic surgery knife (see point 10) than their foreign counterparts, they also snap up skincare products and, yes, even makeup, namely foundation in the form of BB cream.

6) "Why are Korean women so good at golf?" The rankings were staggering. Of the top 100 female golfers in the world, 38 were Korean.

7) Starcraft is actually a legitimate career in South Korea, with pro gamers raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars in earnings in addition to endorsements. Since the game launched in 1998, nearly half of all games have been sold in South Korea, where boys, girls, men and women drop by for a night of gaming in giant video game parlors.
There are cable channels devoted solely to the games, and the culture has led to approximately 14% of Koreans between ages 9 and 12 suffering from Internet addiction, according to the National Information Agency. To try to crack down, the government passed a ban dubbed the "shutdown law" or "Cinderella law" two years ago, prohibiting anyone 16 and younger from game websites. The ban has been widely ignored.

8) Flight attendants from airlines around the world come to Korean airlines' training centers to learn proper airborne charmAsk anyone who's ever flown a Korean airline and dare them to say the service isn't the best they've ever had. It's not just the sweet smiles that greet every little request, but the almost comical looks of suicidal despair when they somehow run out of bibimpap in the row before yours.

9) "When's your next sogeting (blind date)?" That's one of the most frequently asked questions of any Korean single. The standard answer is the epic horror story that was the last blind date. Followed immediately by a chirpy, "Why, do you know someone you can set me up with?" Due to the high volume of blind dates, when Korean make up their minds, they move quickly. In a survey conducted by Duo, working singles interested in marriage say they typically go on two blind dates a week.

10) Whether it's a lantern jaw, wide forehead or long teeth, there's no feature doctors can't beautify in the Asian capital for cosmetic surgery. Russians, Chinese, Mongolians and Japanese flock to South Korea on plastic surgery "medical tours," not only for the skill of the surgeons, but for the good deals.

After research I found out this quote told to CNN, "An average -- not excellent -- face-lift in the United States will set you back about $10,000," Seoul National University Hospital plastic surgeon Kwon Seung-taik told CNN. "But in Korea you can get the same service for $2,000 or $3,000."

Happy Halloween..

For this time, I am choosing that is evidently the best so far.. It is rated 15 and the genre is horror. This film speaks for itself and it's a bit like marmalade - you either love it or hate it.. It's called Ouija.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

When am I gonna die?

Tomorrow I might die, maybe in the next minute today. Then that means people around me might have lost a best friend, a sister, a daughter or a student less at school. I heard about someone who was very young die of a heart failure by a bridge - he was perfectly normal; walking outside, going to his friend's house like any other day - who knows? - then walking over the bridge by Cathall Centre he had a heart failure and died. Just like that.. Dead. What was he thinking when he lived his last second? His mum? His family? His girlfriend?

Everybody I ever knew, had said stuff about what they wanted to be in the future; a doctor, an engineer or a lawyer. Everybody had their dream, that guy probably had a dream too. I mean, he didn't plan to die then, he probably didn't want to - but he had no choice?

What regrets do you think he had when he realised, "This is it - I'm gonna die" ? Maybe in the past he had done wrong and wanted to correct himself but thought, "I'll do it later". If he had thought that later wasn't quick enough, it should have been soon. This is just a mere example but I know loads of people have had thoughts like these before - I know I have. Also, I'm not implying that guy  had thought this or had any regrets, for all I know he could've been the best guy ever considering I've never met him, he is just another example of an unlucky man who lost his future..

To be honest, I don't want to end up like him. I even have a bucket list - there are things I want to do and see. I want to grow-up and feel how it feels like to be old even though I know it sucks. But maybe that's not my fate.. Maybe that is't yours either.. Who knows? If you're religious you would agree with me and say "God knows" but if you're an atheist you might exclaim, "Nobody does". And for now nobody does yes it's true, sorry if that hurt you. You can't knock at God's door and ask this question and if there isn't anybody else - nobody knows.

What I want to say is simple. Make everyday worth it. You want to say sorry, say sorry. You want to tell the truth, say the truth. Life is too short even if you live till 100, life is too short so there isn't time for you to lie to others, build a wall so no-one can get to you or for you to live in guilt and there isn't time to hate. Learn to forgive and say "Sorry, that was my fault". But if it isn't your fault learn to stand up for yourself  and tell them they're wrong and why.

I just want people to know time doesn't wait for you, you have to use your time wisely.
