Guess what am I?

I was born when my person turned 13 or so. I had stayed hidden in her blood and veins for a long time. I watched through blurry lenses making out a figure or two or parts of her life that dragged on very slowly. Then I broke through her oily skin – big and proud – until I caught sight of her transfixed horror when she saw me. I instantly cowered and scrunched up smaller. She had long chestnut hair that hung loosely by her elbows and almond shaped eyes that widened with revulsion when she looked through the mirror at me. I first felt a pang of annoyance and then anger bursting through me – and with that I felt a nauseating liquid boiling inside of me. And guess what? I loved it! Her reaction was so priceless when she poked me this way and that with her perfect manicured nails. I smiled inside as I felt the breeze on my face and I enjoyed the cinema screen view of the world before me. I thought, I could get used to this.

I didn’t want my life to end but unfortunately I always did die sooner or later… Yesterday she took me on her date. Don’t get me wrong – she had no choice! Wherever she went, I went – I’m practically glued on her and that’s a pain most of the time. She’d smothered acid on me and hid me underneath her fringe– extra much? Maybe she was embarrassed – ashamed?  But when I saw her so-called boyfriend lounging on a chair outside Costa with a menacing cup of something in his hands and his perfect face with no flaws or blemishes – my mind just buzzed ‘MURDERER’! Yet my person sashayed towards him like he was a Greek God and she was her Goddess. The day had swiftly continued and more days like this passed as well until after a few months she found the poison that ended me completely.

It came unexpectedly – when I was a swollen masterpiece filled with gunge – a pin-liked needle pierced through me oozing my insides out. An excruciating pain filled me that had always scarred me even in my past lives but as a ruthless parasite like I am, I remembered to leave a scar on her.

MOVIE PICK OF THE WEEK

The movie/book that is highly recommended by loads of people is The Fault In Our Stars - this is a romance and drama genre type. I thought the book was touching - however I haven't watched the movie yet but I am predicting the tickets will be sold out! Over 85% of people who had done a review thought it was great and even if you aren't into melodrama, still watch it or read it because you will find even a little thing appealing to you. Also, if you loved the stars that played Tris and Caleb in the movie Divergent, this is your chance to see them again, but this time Caleb as the male lead. By the way, the movie is a 12A so even if you are 12 but you don't look like it - bring photo ID. Trust me I know someone who couldn't watch Oculus - this other new movie I'm going to talk about - because she didn't have ID. Its a sad life...

Like I was saying another major must-watch movie is Oculus - this is a totally different genre - it's a horror and thriller movie. If you know the "girl who waited" from Doctor Who - Amy - she is staring as one of the main roles. This is a 15 rated movie so bring an adult over 18 if you are under-aged. Just warning you if you do go see it - bring a friend its less scarier that way.

MOVIE PICK OF THE WEEK

A must have movie to watch this week that is highly recommended by most people is
                                          22 Jump Street
This is a funny comedy and action movie with a bit of romance - over 88% of people who've watched it said it was awesome and watching it again wouldn't be a problem. This movie wasn't out too long ago - a couple of weeks - yet it's really popular! I'm betting that it would be the talk after everyone's watched it!

MY SIS' BLOG

I like to think my older sister was inspired by me to start a blog too but maybe it was out of complete boredom. Nevertheless, check out her perky bright blog and her obsessions... You'll be entertained!

E.L.E.M

I'm experimenting on this new healthy fitness plan called E.L.E.M. It stands for Eat Less Exercise More. So far its kind of working... First I thought of missing meals then someone told me it really wasn't healthy and think of another way to stay fit. Don't get me wrong I'm not a fat person I just need to control my weight so that I'm prepared when I'm older. I'm actually skinny but when I put on weight it goes to my thighs and belly - that's annoying!

1.FRUITS
Eating more raw fruits and vegetables regularly helps.

2.SUGAR AND NUTS
Reduce the amount of sugar you eat a day. When choosing between Snickers and a Mars bar, don't get confused and choose Snickers just cos it has nuts. Try choosing nothing at all and settle for a yoghurt.

3.MEALS
When I say "Eat Less" it does not mean starve yourself or eat but then guiltily binge - it means no snacks in between meals. Think it like this no snacks in between meals = more appetising meals. Your meals may become something you love. When you are at school or so and you're sharing food and someone offers something to you, refuse. Eating just your own food is enough. Don't get tempted and resist - but once in a while a treat is worth it!

4.EXERCISE
When your on a diet, exercise regularly... It's like doing 10 push-ups daily for a week and then moving onto 15 push-ups daily for the next. You're not going to get anywhere if you don't push yourself little by little - you'll stay exactly where you are. There are loads of exercises that helps you maintain a fit figure - running, cycling, etc.

5.FOOD
When you eat those meals still choose a healthy choice. There's no point in all the no-snacks and exercising if you eat burgers, chips and fizzy drinks for all three meals. I'm not asking for you to eat salad but a variety of the food groups.

Eating the right amount can help you lose a few kg. It's not about starvation but about accuracy.

THEME PARK ESSENTIALS

Hellooo! So very soon I'm going to Chessington on the 25th June as a school trip. It's basically going to be awesome - it will be the first time going to Chessington and the next theme park after going Pleasure beach in the easter hols. So I've decided that when you go to theme parks some people get confused on what to bring with them!

The bag that you take with you  is going to stay with you for the whole day - you want to travel light but not forget everything you might need. If it's going to be a long day a bag is most convenient. You would want to choose a bag that has loads of zips and is not too big. So, shall we get onto what's inside the bag? First of all, there are the usual things - phone, camera/Ipod and your wallet.

1.YOUR MAGIC-BAND
This is a no-brainer, and you probably have it on your wrist already. When I don't want it on my wrist I just hook it onto a strap of my bag to keep it nearby.

2.MONEY
You'll never know when spare change or a couple of notes can get you something you need. But don't bring too much, if you lose your entire fortune of pocket money, you'll be sorry.

3.EXTRA BATTERIES
If you are taking a camera make sure to either charge your camera overnight before or bring extra batteries on the day. Either way make sure to have a full memory card, save all your past photos somewhere on your computer or your laptop and delete them for extra space if you are a shutter bug like me.This also goes for your Ipods and phones.

4.HAND SANITISER
No-one wants to get sick and theme parks are very public places with plenty of germs. It's super convenient for you or at least one person you are with to have this.

5.NAIL CLIPPER
You might be scratching your head on this one - no, I don't need to clip my nails in the park. But you never know when you might need small blades to cut - a tag off something you just bought, etc. I recommended this because it's much smaller than scissors unless you have baby scissors which I know there are but it's really up to you.

6.ZIP-LOCK BAGGIES
It's handy for wet rides if you want to protect your electronics. Also handy for restaurants when you're too full to finish that waffle or that bite of chocolate but you know you'll want it later. ;)

7.SUNGLASSES
Times when the sun's scorching you just need shades to help you see or to "hide you from the paparazzi" quoted by one of my besties.

8.WATER
Trust me when you're waiting in a line for over half an hour or so you'll get thirsty. Bring drinking beverages as well - food there in some parks are pricey.

9.A HOOD
Always check the weather before hand, and it if shows light rain or even cloudy pack a light raincoat or a jumper with a hood. Umbrellas are useless in parks - you can't hold an umbrella up when you're on a ride, can you?

10.SUNSCREEN
Wear sunscreen regardless of rain or not if you burn quick and bring a small bottle among one your friends or you just in case.

11.A WATCH
If you have brought a phone or an Ipod - great - but otherwise a watch is handy to check when to eat and places to be.

12.A PEN
You never really know when you might have to scribble down something... ;) wink wink

13. LITTLE FOOD
Light snacks and a packed lunch is enough for the whole day - believe me! Bringing a massive Doritos packet with Haribos is a waste of space. Instead take a bottle/ a can of a drink and a small packet of crisp with an energy bar. When you're inside the park your mind will be fixated on rides not on food. Also eating a bunch of food before going on any ride can make you sick. No one wants to see that!

14.FIRST AID
Just in case someone falls sick or hurts themselves bring tablets like paracetamol or motion sickness tablets if your journey to the park is long.

15.CHANGE OF CLOTHES AND MAKE-UP
Water rides are awesomely popular so when you get wet change into spare clothes and re-apply your make up. Don't want to look like a mess do you?

16.BRUSH
When you go on rides what tends to happen with me a lot is that my hair gets really tangled so bringing a comb or a brush is useful.

I can so far only think about these things that would be really essential if you come across this page and thought of something I missed out just comment or tell me and I'll update it.

Do piercings and braces hurt?

I have thought of piercings that I might do during my life that I would have the guts to do... They aren't much but they are....

1. EAR PIERCINGS - TOP AND BOTTOM
Ear piercings are the most common worn around the world and yet I don't have my ears pierced. Crazy and weird since I'm actually ALREADY 13, people had theirs done since they were little... Since I feel ashamed of how small my guts are, I'm piercing my ears in the summer normally with  a gun but also by pushing myself also the top ear piercings too.

2. BELLY PIERCING
My bestie is the most courageous out of nearly everyone I know. She's getting her belly pierced in the summer - we thought of doing it together before my parents made plans to go on holiday to Malyasia. (EXCITED). As much as I would love to be there with her when she gets it done I can't. But altogether I'm getting my ears pierced while she gets her belly done. For me belly piercing is like in NEVER. If you watch videos on YouTube you might understand me.

Moving on from piercings let's talk about braces - which I need!

Braces are cute and colourful, they suit some people not everyone. For me I don't really care whether they suit me I just want straight teeth before the end of secondary. Most people choose aqua blue for their braces or bold colours... I'm thinking for me turquoise. I'm in love with that colour so far. Braces hurt after the actual "putting in" for like 2 weeks but after some time, depending on how bad your teeth are, they will be straight again. But like my mum always says, "No pain, no gain".
