You’re All Surrounded/ We Have You Surrounded

This is a drama series that involves action, comedy and romance. It is generally based around four main characters that have never thought about becoming detectives, but ended up entering the violent crime unit at the Gangnam police station. While they unravel crimes a detective also accomplishes his mission of his mother murdered. It’s also extremely funny and exciting to watch. Though I haven’t finished watching the whole series I would rate this 9/10 and would definitely recommend this to crime lovers.
Every single actor/actress had put 100% effort into becoming the character from minors to main leads – this is no surprise as the director has used as many top drama stars to play in here. Also, what makes it even better is the awesome story line which is not just about one guy’s life but many entwined with each other.  It has a mind racking plot that has your attention on point at all times. It is suitable for 13 year-olds and over but this is a must watch drama that you can’t deny after being hooked on.
The story begins when a 15 year-old boy’s mother got stabbed for being a witness of a crime – although the legendary detective ensured her safety. The boy found his mother lying on the floor in the bedroom in a bloody mess with a golden necklace dropped next to her. He had hid under the bed when he heard the sound of the murderer returning but absent-mindedly took the necklace. It was too late when he realised the murderer was looking for it and when he looks under the bed, the boy’s dying mother distracts the murderer to save her child. He was left helpless watching his mother strangled to death. The boy out of worry has called the detective and told him about what he saw – the detective told him to wait in the playground. At 7 pm at night in the cold he is waiting until his murderer spots him – running for his life he drops the necklace. Unfortunately, during that day at school a girl had a misunderstanding with him and said through the speaker phone she was calling him and that she was sorry and without knowing there was a killer lose or that his mother has died she’s vaguely saying stuff about him. Finally when he’s lost the killer the girl saw the boy run into a room, without knowing, she had said through the school’s speaker phone, “Why are you running away from me, you can’t hide – I saw you go in the science room”. Now the killer knows his whereabouts and only steps in the science room when the boy splashes what he thinks to be hydrochloric acid onto his face and then he’s gone. The boy only knows three thinks – the killer should have a burnt face, he has a scar behind his left ear and his black boots which he remembers from watching under the bed. That’s when he runs away from his little town. The girl finds the necklace and keeps it to remember that day he went missing.
After 11 years they meet, he has a new identity and the girl doesn't remember, them and two other detectives join a group and works under a team leader who was the detective that was responsible for the boy’s mother’s death. One guy is secretly gay and the other is a clueless geek, the girl tries her best to do things whereas the boy is prodigy working undercover for a mystery Mr. S for revenge against his team leader – would his case ever close?

If you are like me wanting to finish this drama you can just search Dramago and through the search box there, write ‘You’re all surrounded’. After I'm sure you'll figure it out from there and don't freak out - I forgot to mention it's in Korean but there are English subtitles. RELAX
