My passion for rowing

Starting from Yr 07 I fell in love with rowing... I was really crap from the beginning but I was average! My sister told me about rowing clubs on Wednesdays at our school and I viewed it as staying healthy and fit also as a hobby. My first competition was on Valentine's Day last year, I was alright... I was actually 6th out of 10 people in my year when competing with other schools. I was happy! Really happy but what let me down was when I got 20th place out of over 30 people in a big competition called NJIRC - National Junior Indoor Rowing Competition which is held every year in March and only a selected few got to go.. I was lucky enough to go but I had to work on my skills.
This year I have improved loads and that's a good thing because rowing for 3 mins as fast as you can is HARD! Next year is going to be 4 mins (God help)!! I actually reached 6th place and we were leading fourth out of everybody in the Relay (rowing). My bestie Annia, www.blonde-annia.blogspot.co.uk, was 1st place and I was so proud of her for it! We all pushed ourselves and Adela and Tess got joint 10th which shows their telepathic connection. Now we are definite to row ON WATER in around June. My sister had done that and as she and her team received fourth place, they got tickets to the Paralympics. These are their photos: My sis is the short one with folded arms by the tall man!

 I also have pictures of going to NJIRC but unfortunately they are on my phone and I am clueless with stuff like this that's why I'm planning not to take ICT as a GCSE option! However, I will find a way to transfer them and will post them as soon as I can! Sorry but for now this is how it looks like:
